To create a custom material, select an existing one and make it similar to the one you want to create. Right-click on the Material node in the FeatureManager design tree, and then choose Edit Material. In the Properties window, type a name for your material, preferably something that describes the kind of material you want. The name should be descriptive and easy to reference. Once you've created your new material, you can change its properties.

Using the Home Designer architectural and Pro programs, you can create a custom material for your project. You can choose the type of texture that you would like for your material, and also add an offset to the texture image. Once you have made the custom material list, you can move the image into the project and start animating it. Continue with this process until you have created a custom material with the desired properties and appearance. Here are some tips to get started.
To set up custom properties, go to the Properties panel of your project. Select the objects you wish to edit. You'll see properties for each selected object. Click on one or more to see more details. The Custom Properties window also displays an event log for your current Job. When you're finished editing your custom properties, click the "Save" button to save your changes. You can also click "Cancel" to cancel the changes made to your project.
Selecting a material is a straightforward process. Once you've selected a material, you can edit its color and opacity. The paint bucket tool is available to change the colour of the material. Changing a material's color in SketchUp is as simple as selecting a face, painting group, or component. To choose a new material, click the Select tab, expand the hidden tray, and select the materials panel. A drop-down list will open with a collection of materials. Click the material and it will appear in the In Model collection.
